Green Tea Latte

To celebrate getting back to my normal weight (normal as of late), I decided I'd be a little indulgent with myself and make myself a Green Tea Latte with 2 teaspoons of sugar in it. I regret not buying myself one of those little bamboo whisks they use in tea ceremonies for whipping up the green tea because I was unable to blend it perfectly, but it tasted pretty good anyway!

I have a backlog of high calorie recipes I want to try out now, but not sure where to start because there are so many...

NOTE: Will re-shoot this photograph when I get a chance.

Green Tea Latte...hmmmm...sounds delicious! Listen lady...I think I need to go where 'you have been' with respect to the carbs...grin! Being of german/mennonite heritage I can certainly attest to having an abundance of those recipes with carbs although I do convince myself that a 'taste' is okay and that I am not really hugely overweight. Grin. But summer approaches with those sleeveless blouses...egads! Still, you won't see me dropping the good homecooked food. It is all about portions the teenager says...I think he is right!

That looks so warm and comforting. My daughter loves green tea, she would really like this. It would be fun to use the dried kind and the little bamboo whisk, we have only used the bagged tea.

Trish: Yes - it's all about portions if you can control it. ;)

Natashya: To make 1 tall glass of green tea latte use no more than 1 teaspoon Matcha powder. You don't need much and maybe you need less depending on your powder and how strong your daughter likes her tea to be. :)

That sounds delicious. I have some matcha that I should do this with. Frothy. two teaspoons of sugar is not bad. It is only 32 calories. Even on a strict diet that would nt be too bad.

Yikes I still cant believe you weigh 100 pounds or 50 kilos. You really watch what you do with your weight. I guess thats why you are thin and I am not.

Lori: I keep saying this but 50 kg may not sound like much to 'tall (or medium) people' but when you're only 5 ft. 1 in....you can feel this in your knees. 50 kg = 110 lb by the way. I haven't been 100 lbs for a loooooong time!
